DESCRIPTION:Join us for Summer Camp 2024! \nBuffalo Girlchoir is offering two camps this year taking place July 29 – August 2: \nCamp I – Sing Together (Ages 5 – 10)\nGirls in this camp will participate each day in singing activities. They will practice their solfege and music theory in a fun and relaxed atmosphere\, while also engaging in more traditional camp activities such as picnic lunches in the park\, arts and crafts\, and field trips to nearby playgrounds. \nCamp II – Sing\, Compose\, Record (Ages 11 – 16)\nGirls in this camp will hone their singing and musicianship skills while preparing for a recording session at the legendary GCR Recording Studios in downtown Buffalo on the final day of camp. The single will be released on Spotify in the fall\, followed by an accompanying book illustrated and designed by the girls to be released in the spring. Each day we will be joined by composer Caroline Mallonee who will assist the singers in creating their own songs.
